Litchfield’s 10th Anniversary
In the last 10 years we have undertaken many complex and pioneering projects in Project Management, Finance and Technology. Our clients have undertaken many changes over that period as all of us have witnessed a third industrial revolution. Ten years ago the computer was still not on every desk and the internet was still in its infancy.
Since then we have witnessed much new building in London - the Gherkin, the Millennium Dome, London Eye and the Jubilee Line as well as the second tranche of construction at Canary Wharf. I can now leave my home in London to be in an office in Paris in under three hours.
As a company the management techniques we use for a project have completely changed. We are now faced with environmental issues and climate change. We now manage IT re-locations for banks and we have developed our extranet for use on every project – which is now being used by over 1,000 users.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every person, client and company that we have worked with over the last ten years for all the experiences we have gained and for the projects we have worked on.
So what about the future? What we do know is that the future is going to be ever faster and that our services will be required abroad more and more frequently. We are facing the changes and will be continuously reinventing ourselves to keep abreast of the new working environment.
It should be fun.
