Robin Davis wins the Litchfield Cup for his work on Swindon Crown Court

July 5, 2005

The panel chose Swindon as the winner because it presented the team with a number of difficulties not experienced on other courts. Firstly, due to tendering pressures, the work had to split amongst various managers who had to expand their roles to meet the tight time constraints, access restrictions and differences in construction that were experienced across the building.

Robin was in charge of detailed design co-ordination and the management of the site. His thorough surveys and routes through the building saved time and cost. He was delighted to receive his award as can clearly be seen from the picture.

The project was completed on schedule and to budget.
